My Best Valentine's Day Yet

Whether you're one who celebrates Valentine's Day, or one who writes it off as the gift business trying to get your hard earned cash, there's not too many things better than showing your special someone how much you care. I love any and every reason to celebrate, and having a day dedicated to celebrating my love for the man in my life is beyond exciting for me. I've seen my fair share of Valentine's Days! From candy grams and surprise teddy bears in lockers to moon lit dinner cruises with the Hawaiian islands as our view. My best Valentines Day ever has been spent right here in Las Vegas. Here's how it went....

First things first: LOCATION! I knew I wanted all of his attention the entire time, so I booked a BOMB suite at Palms Place for the evening. I tend to over do it, so we ended up spending 2...maybe 3 nights here! We stayed in the One Bedroom Suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had a view of the strip from one side, and the mountains from the other. It came with a full kitchen, dining room and living room all separate from the bedroom. In the bedroom right next to the window was a ridiculously romantic tub where you can soak up the suds while taking in the view....whatever you might be looking at!

While the room itself screamed Valentine's Day romance loud enough for the rest of the city to hear, that wasn't enough for me just yet! I payed attention to the things he was into at the time and figured out the best gift...he is into music, listening to creating...everything. That was his thing. Well, I figured I'd get him a new way to listen, and picked him up a pair of Beats in his favorite color along with the newest video game...to be played as soon as possible.

Next, dinner of course! The Palms Hotel and Casino is a short walk from the Palms Place, and has tons of meal options like the ultra luxurious Alize, super casual Hooters, and fast food options in the Eatery. Our favorite thing is chicken wings, so we agreed on some to-go from Nathan's in the Eatery. We took dinner back up to the suite, and spent the rest of the evening doing our favorite thing...shooting zombies in Black Ops, and enjoying each others company. Did I mention he got me a FABULOUS purse too!!

At the end of the day, whether you choose to celebrate Valentine's Day or nah... What really matters is making sure your Bae know's just how much you care, and how much attention you pay to their thoughts, feelings, wants and needs. If you couldn't tell...I'm definitely team Valentine's Day! Are you? Tell me about your best Valentine's Day in the comments, and tag @nikkionvegas on instagram and twitter with your celebration to let me know if you're #TeamValentinesDay too!
