One of the most interesting shows I have seen in Vegas is nestled in an excellent location in Downtown Las Vegas. I laughed, I cried, I was scared, and a little worried...I had what felt like private access to a lounge area with a speak easy vibe and excellent cocktail service. And I got into this show completely free! So can you, every Wednesday down at Inspire. I'm talking, of course, about Laugh-A-War!
Laugh-A-War is a free live comedy competition located down in East Fremont, right across the road from Slot-Zilla, inside Inspire Theater. You can catch the show the 1st through 3rd Wednesday's if the month. The last Wednesday is reserved for Semifinals, where comedians are competing to get a spot in the monthly WE funny comedy show, from the man himself, Will Edwards.
Comedians face off, head to head in 2 minute rounds in, get this, LIVE IMPROV COMEDY! You get to pick random topics as you enter to get the funniest (or most awkward) performances out of the contestants! This was wild you guys, we had them on stage making jokes about everything from glitter to "Butt Stuff". Nothing is off limits here, and there is absolutely nothing like this anywhere else in the city!
