The Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino is certainly a site to behold on the strip with it's unique take on lux. For me, the highlight is upstairs in MARQUEE nightclub. This place is gigantic, beautiful and has a steady line up of world famous DJs bumping mind altering beats to dancers 20ft in the air back-lit by a completely re-donk-ulous giant LED screed on the main floor.
I'm going to start this off with the important deets, they are open Friday, Saturday and Monday, so no mid week partying unless it's a special event week or a holiday. They pretty much keep World Known DJs in their rotation, and the vibe changes with each one! One night you could be listening to the latest EDM/House, and the next they could have DJ Mustard on the tables. This is both a dayclub AND a nightclub so in the Spring-Fall you can party all day then come back later that night for a whole new party.
Once you step outside it is literally breathtaking. The pool is beautiful, and it has it's own separate DJ. If you decide to spring for a table they have the tables around the pool that are in the center of the excitement and the easiest to mingle with fellow party goers in the day time along with tables all over the main room. There are also cabanas just a couple steps above the pool that allow for a more private party with a complete view of the action and the Las Vegas Strip. Bottle service will take you back a couple hundred, maybe thousand depending on how large your group is, but it's nice to have your own piece of the party with a model in lingerie pouring your drinks just how you like them and never letting your cup go empty. Honestly, after about 30 mins of that and how much I love shots...I completely forget that I don't love house music and every song becomes "My JAM" and I'm dancing on top of something talking about "I woke up like this," or something of the sort...but I digress.
What you really want to know is how YOU get in. I 100% recommend you get with a VIP Host/Promoter about getting on a guest list if you are coming with a group of women. The more women the better, but you will have to at least have an equal ratio of men and women to get on the list. You'll need to be on it usually by about 7pm the night you want to go out. Your VIP Host can also help you book a table in advance. Once you make your way inside Cosmo, and find your way up to MARQUEE, you should start to see the line wrapping around the entrance and the separate lines: VIP GUEST LIST, BOTTLE SERVICE, and GENERAL ADMISSION(the killer). There's also going to be tons of people just standing around, so it can definitely get confusing. If you are already here and want bottle service, jump in that line or get the attention of the guys in suits talking to their headsets like they're secret service. If you've already made it this far and DON'T want bottle service and AREN'T on a guest list, you might already be too late... But it always helps to have a large group of mostly women or at least an equal ratio with everyone dressed to the nines.
