The entire Las Vegas Strip from the "Welcome" sign all the way to the stratosphere is about a 4 mile walk... One way. That would take your average sober person somewhere around an hour and forty-five minutes (according to my good friend Google). I'd love to hear my fitness guru's chime in with your best times! I see you guys out there running all the time. This week I want to share with you my favourite free entertainment and photo ops.

.) The Welcome to The Fabulous Las Vegas sign. I wouldn't recommend walking here, but it's an option. There are usually Vegas showgirls or an Elvis there to take a picture with you and someone that will snap the pic for you for a tip. Don't be shy! Take a fun picture to share with everyone who missed the trip.

.) Mandalay Bay casino bar. The drinks are not free but they have live performances most nights with absolutely no cover and open dance floor. I've heard everything from country, top 100, punk, and jazz.

.) Luxor Hotel and Casino. This entire place is a photo-op waiting to happen if you are into ancient Egyptian sculptures, hieroglyphics, or anything related to Chris angel Mindfreak.
.) New York New York Hotel & Casino and Hersey chocolate world. Chocolate world guys!! I don't want to give too much away because I want you to come experience it for yourself, but the bottom floor right outside has a "Chocolate Bar" where you can get a yummy chocolaty cocktail of your choice! Mmm! The New York New York Hotel & Casino is a very cool place to stop and take photos. Outside they have the Statue of Liberty right on the strip there is also the Big Apple coaster that ride around the entire hotel and casino.

.) MGM Grand Hotel and Casino rainforest cafe. This spot is a very cool photo op and a great place to stop for lunch if you're hungry. No its not free to eat here but seeing it definitely gives you a different side then the glitz and glam of the rest of the strip.
.) The Bellagio fountains, Observatory, and glass ceiling in the lobby. All of these are amazing photo opportunities! Depending on the time of the year there will be a beautiful handcrafted, flower covered, themed scene in the observatory that is just to the right of the front desk where they have beautiful blown glass flowers decorating the ceiling. Just outside the resort on the strip is the Fountains show you have just got to see! From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. the show is every half hour and from 7 p.m. to midnight the show is every 15 minutes.
.) The Mirage volcano, and Beatles memorabilia. A literally HOT show! Stand too close and you'll feel the warmth of the flames. Catch it every night starting at 8 p.m. and running every half hour until midnight just outside of the Mirage. Inside they have Beatles memorabilia all over the place to satisfy your inner Beatle-maniac. There is also a fan friendly lounge where you can reminisce to your favorite tunes.
.) Wynn -Lake of Dreams. This is one that not many people know about that is very very cool. From sun down to midnight, every half hour the lake transformed into a holographic puppet show that is something you should not miss.
.) The Venetian River with Gondolas. While riding the gondolas will cost you, it's still a very unique site! The shopping center the gondolas flow through and the outside area is never closed, but the rides run from 10 a.m. to about midnight.
.) Caesars Forum Shops, Fall of Atlas show. This is a fully immersive free show that goes on inside of the Forum Shops. I'm not exactly sure the schedule of the show but it happens from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at regular intervals. This one is great for all ages and pretty exciting when you catch it. The entire resort has statues of Caesar and other really cool Roman style decoration that'll keep you camera ready.
.) M&M world. Another chocolate base retail store, but it is still a place to see for my Chocoholics. Great for all ages and they have a free 3d movie that's great for the little ones.

.) Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. Now this one is fantastic! They have the animals out at 8 a.m. They have their famous pink flamingos, turtles, koi finish, parrots and other birds and fish that you are free to walk around and see. They have boards with information on each type of animal they have so it's also educational.
.) The Linq. This is an alley of shop, bars, restaurants, a bowling alley, and ending with the world's largest observation wheel, the Highroller. This place is just fun to walk walkthrough. Right in the middle of the alley they have a fountain that's very viewed at night so you can see they have it lit up so each spout shoots a different color. Not to mention you have got to get a picture of the Highroller.
.) Carnival Court. Between Harrah's and the newly named Linq Hotel and Casino is the Carnival Court Bar. They call it a "street party". It's an outside venue with table games, seating, dance floor and VIP bottle area. Now, this one is questionable on the price. Every time I've gone it's been free however, in the busier months they may start charging a cover. This place is very cool they always have live entertainment either a band or DJ and their flair bartenders are top of the line. You can watch them whip up your favorite drinks in STYLE. They have a nightly show where they do the most unbelievable and gravity defying tricks while making drinks and doing their around the world trick where they set the bar on fire.
.) Big Elvis at Harrah's. Check here for details. All my Elvis lovers will absolutely love this one!! Usually no line and totally free. Check the showtimes on the link above to make sure you get there in time.
.) Circus Circus Las Vegas, free circus acts. If you make it that far, this one is great for all ages and this place can keep the family busy all day long. Free world class circus acts that are completely amazing go on all day starting at 11 a.m. You will have to be there to check the schedule, or drop me a line the day you are headed down there and I'll check for you. You can also get into the Adventuredome (Indoor amusement park with carnival games) free and watch the clown and other free acts they have.
I'll keep updating this list or posting new ones as I find more places to take great pictures and do fun things completely free. Did I miss your favorite Vegas attraction or photo op?
