SLS: Why you should be booking

Let's get right to it. The SLS is one of the newest resort vacation spots on the strip. So, you won't remember it from an old family vacation but you won't ever forget a stay here! Here's why:


You have SO many food options! From the comfy cafe in the Perq, to the world famous Umami Burger you could eat something completely different for every meal! Umami is one of my top recommended burger spots in the entire city!


The casino bar is LIT! There's a HUGE led screen above the casino bar that shows everything from hypnotic scenes of jellyfish swimming accross the bar, to selfies when you use there special hashtag! My Apple Martini was about $15.


The rooms are so beautiful. There's nothing standard about a stay here! Each style of room is so dramatically different, yet 100% their vibe! Stay prices vary depending on your travel dates. Check for rates here

If you have been to Vegas before, you might remember something different sitting in this spot. Back in the day, The Sahara used to sit in this spot! The new resort pays homage with cute and subtle hints, like the carpet in this elegant gaming lounge.

Being pool season and all, I have to mention Foxtail! The SLS has it's own nightclub/dayclub option with Foxtail, this is one of the funnest pool cubs. Especially when they are having a concert series! At the SLS, you can also get your groove on at the Foundry where ticket holders can see live shows on a regular basis! I caught the X Ambadsadors here!

All in all, the SLS is definitely a GO! Here's some tips: it's pretty far from the rest of the Strip and NOT walking distance from DTLV/Fremont Street so make sure you download UBER or take advantage of our taxi services. If your phone is low on charge and you don't want to walk back to your room, they have charging stations in the Perq and on the Casino floor in between Umami and the bar, just don't forget it!
