Spring has sprung and Vegas is in full effect (as always)! But this month is extra special, not just because it’s my birthday month…but because the weather is AMAZING, events are popping off left and right, and new venues are opening! Here is a peak at what’s going on in the coming weeks:
First off the weather is phenomenal! All month long we are looking at highs mostly in the mid 80’s to upper 70’s. The desert sun is still very harsh on your skin so sunscreen and shades are MANDATORY always. It does feel very chilly in the evenings so bring a light coat or sweater. This is perfect weather for the day clubs and pool clubs that are now open all across the city. This also means you can pull out your oh so sexy summer dresses, skirts, shorts and tanks! As always, if you need to pick up some fashion I always recommend Certified Ave Boutique, they have everything you need to stay styling all year round.
New venues opening up this month are so exciting! We have the T-mobile arena that opened last week with an all star performance from the Killers, and this week they have Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. Also inside the T-mobile arena we have the Hyde lounge opening up with an amazing concert from the LEGENDARY Guns N’ Roses! We also have The Park opening up this month right next to the new T-mobile arena that is full of bars, restaurants and cute shops to spend the day exploring.
The events we have popping off this month are going to be so much fun and will keep everyone tied up all month long. We have the Great Vegas Festival of Beer happening Saturday April 9th nestled in downtown Fremont, here you can taste, chug, shoot over 400 craft beers! I absolutely love these events, you get to find out about beer types that you have never heard of before and maybe even find your new favorite! At the very least, you will definentally get to try out a beer you have never gotten to try before and experience this great event. Another fest on the same day and a completely different vibe, we have the Sprit Fest that is really like a giant family friendly block party, live music, food, games, rides all kinds of spirit lifting fun ;). Ru-Pauls Drag race is stopping by Las Vegas on the 29th for an All Star battle of the Seasons! If you follow the show, your favorites will be going head to head to see who is the all time Queen. Paquiao vs Bradley where Pac-Man will fight his last fight is happening in the same arena Mayweather hung his gloves up too! Sat, April 9th the city will be a buzz with this fight! The fight is sold out, so beware of fake ticket pushers trying to scam. Always get your tickets from a trustworthy source, like ticketmaster or certified re-sale sites. Las Vegas Boulevard and Fremont is home to live music. You can see cover band from your favorite 80’s-90’s bands live downtown, or see the biggest stars of today at their residency’s up and down the strip. Britney Spears Pieces of me is live weekly this month, but you will have to wait until next month to see JLO in the same theater. Boys II Men on the 15th, 16th, 17th, 29th, and 30th. Matt Goss is playing tons between the 9th and 17th. Along with our impersonators, our residency’s are amazing! We also have some concerts coming this month like one I am SOOO Excited for because everyone loves to say Vegas doesn’t do country, we have ABC’s Nashville live in concert here on the 15th! Tickets are still on sale for about $50. Keeping the country vibe, we have George Strait the 22nd and 23rd. Rihanna and Ellie Golding are bringing their world tours to the city of sin also this month. Rihanna coming through on the 29th and 30th and Ellie on the 9th. These are just a hand full of the concerts and live music we have coming to town.
