How We Vegas: The Aria

The Aria Las Vegas Resort and Casino is one part of Las Vegas’ City Center, in between the Vdara Hotel and Spa and Crystals luxury shopping center. The home of Zarkana and some of the world’s most sought after chef’s, whether you are a local or a tourist, this is how we Vegas. With rooms starting at $200 a night and suites ranging from $350 to $750 a night for a penthouse (military discounts available) it’s not only reasonably priced it’s a one stop entertainment hub.
Sky Suite living space
First off the rooms are fantastic, beautifully designed and decorated, easily accessible, and luxurious. But the suites? Out of this world. I stay in their Sky Suites every occasion I get! When you book a suite you are immediately assigned to a VIP host/concierge who handles all of your needs from the moment you arrive in Valet to getting back to the airport on your last day. Their VIP customer service is bar none. Amenities to guests include and are not limited to pool access, flower arrangements, room service, valet services, concierge services, spa services, and more.

JEWEL Nightclub calls Aria home. If you have never been to a Hakkasan Group nightclub before, this is definitely a great place to start! They have all star DJs like Steve Aoki and Lil Jon here regularly helping make every night the night of your life.

In the Spring and Summer when pool season starts, their hotel pools are open to all guests. One is exclusive for only Sky Suite guests and is very “high class”, so if your bikini isn’t Gucci or of that sort be aware, people might look at you crazy. (Crystal’s luxury shops are a short tram ride away or walk if you’d like to pick up some designer duds) My favorite thing ever in the summer time is Day Clubs and Aria is home to Liquid pool and lounge, expect typical Vegas drink prices $14+ for a standard vodka soda, but grey goose is their well… Cabanas and Day beds can be rented for the day at Liquid pool and lounge and the hotel pools. Comment below for details or get in touch with the resort.

As far as food goes, everything here is pretty pricey! But any and everything you eat here is made by some of the best chef’s in the world. Outside of the Aria Café, their 24 hour eatery, they have BARDOT from Michael Mina for dinner, bar MASA sushi, Five50 by Shawn McClain, the Buffet (freaking amazing), and much much more.

For Bars and lounges, they have a good number of hotel bars scattered around the casino floor, and their restaurants have their own bars as well. Alibi Cocktail Lounge is one of my favorites to stop by to grab a drink and get myself together before a night out, or a post meeting drink. I have no idea how they do it, but the moment you step into Alibi off of the Casino floor you immediately feel the different vibe here. It’s relaxing and sexy all at the same time. Make sure you try “Her Alibi” and let me know how you like it. But since Alibi is one of Hakkasan Group’s sites, there’s no doubt it’s going to be a good time.

Aria’s Casino is freaking huge. You can easily lose your group if you get caught up in a slot machine. If slots are your thing they have literally anything you could want to play, from your old school Vegas 7’s with the handle, to the new school touch screen interactive gaming. There’s really NO strategy to slots, and anybody who tells you otherwise is crap. Slots are meant to be fun and entertaining, and MAYBE you could hit a jackpot. But I will say, out of all of the strip, I have lost the least and had the most fun on their slots. They have so many different options it’s impossible to get bored with it because you can’t stay doing the same thing long. But for real gaming, head over to their table games section where you can really pick up on Pai Gow, Roulette, or black jack, or stop by Race & Sports to put your bets in on the games or races.

For me, the Aria Resort and Casino is a 10 out of 10!
