Planet Hollywood: Why you should be staying here!

With it's sexy Pleasure Pit, good sized Casino Floor, beautiful rooms, fantastic food and the Miracle Mile, Planet Hollywood Resort is at the top of my list for favorite Hotel to "Stay-cation". This place has never left me short on comfort or entertainment! The rooftop Pleasure Pools can keep you busy all day with their crazy contests, live DJ, good food and great drinks, then the Pleasure Pit can keep you up all night if you have a bit of gambler inside you and love to play table games! No matter what I'm in the mood for, Planet Hollywood has just the thing for me every time.

First, let me get to my favorite part...the rooms! The rooms here give you the one of a kind "Hollywood" vibe you would expect from Planet Hollywood Resort. One of the Standard rooms I stayed in went as far as to have a giant framed "Die Hard" poster above the Jacuzzi tub (yes, there was a Jacuzzi tub in the STANDARD ROOM! ^.^) and Forest Gump sneakers inside of a glass end table with cute facts from the movie. The view from this room was PHENOMINAL.
Talk about BANG for your BUCK! Catch them at the right time and this room is a STEAL!

I also got to stay in one of the two bedroom suites, and let me tell you it was LARGE ON LUXURY! This suite had a large living room, dining area to seat 6, and a mini kitchen. You guys, this suite was THE BOMB! Both bedrooms had their own separate bathroom with a FULL SIZE JACUZZI TUB. We could have fit like 3 extra people in there. The living room came equipped with a wrap around leather couch with a pullout bed, flat screen TV, surround sound (that could be hooked up to any device) and a projector (could also be hooked to any device, or play cable) with an automated screen just in case the flat screen wasn't good enough for you. My friends and I almost never left the suite! We had everything we needed right there to party like Rock*Stars! Let's just say on that occasion, I don't have ANY pictures to share!

As far as pools go, the Pleasure Pools are not my first choice but they will show you a good time. The Pleasure Pit on the other hand IS my choice for late night table games. I should warn you, I am HORRIBLE at Black Jack and can NOT get a handle on any other table game but boy...with those dealers, live dancers and great music I sure do try! They have the best Go-Go dancers in town as far as I'm concerned. (Since I used to Go-Go myself, I feel my opinion here is super valid.) Right outside of the Pleasure Pit, in the center of the Casino Floor is the Heart Bar. The Heart Bar is my favorite Bar in the place. As far as excitement goes, it's on the chill side, but they do have fun music and MORE Go-Go dancers.

The Miracle Mile is a shopping center that is seriously like a mile around the whole thing. With over 150 shops to satisfy any shopaholic cravings, and for my foodies out there, there are about 15 restaurants there too. Not only does the Miracle Mile have it's fair share of eateries, the Planet Hollywood Casino floor and "Mez" level have some restaurants too!

If your craving something on the fancy side they have P.F. Chang's and Gordon Ramsey Burger on the Casino Floor and Strip House and KOI on the 2nd floor. If you are feeling more relaxed eating they have YOLO's Mexican Restaurant, Pin-up Pizza, and Earl of Sandwich on the Casino floor along with many other options. If you really want to fill yourself up, the Spice Market Buffet is the way to go. It is a little on the pricey side as far as I'm concerned but if your pockets can handle it your stomach will thank you! The Chefs in the Buffet are amazing, the staff is super friendly and ready to attend to your needs. Did I mention the cotton candy machine? When I stay here I'll either eat at Ketchup, a burger bar inside of the Miracle Mile near the Parking Garage, or I'll walk outside toward the Harley Davidson Cafe go upstairs and eat at Bubba Gumps! Not exactly a Vegas Original, and also on the pricey side but sooooo worth it!

Let's talk entertainment. IT'S BRITNEY B*TCH! Britney Spears is at the AXIS theater inside of Planet Hollywood. I suggest you catch her while you can. Other than the POP PRINCESS, depending on when you come you can see the GODDESS herself, JLO live. The Backstreet Boys are holding a temporary residency, and Pitbull is becoming a regular here too!

As far as partying VEGAS STYLE goes...you will have to venture down the Strip to get that need met. As far as I know there are NO nightclubs currently open inside of Planet Hollywood. There is a lounge up on the 2nd floor open most nights called KOI. Its a cool place to check out, especially if you are staying here. All of the bars on the Casino Floor are cool, but of all of them, I would recommend the Heart Bar as I mentioned earlier. It's fun in a laid back "no cover charge" kind of way. If you are looking to get buck wild, that is not the place to do it. My plan when I'm here is spend some time in the Pleasure Pit just to mingle and make some new friends planning on going out too, head over to the Heart Bar to "pre-game", meet as many people as possible and get ready to hit the Strip. The closest place I choose is to catch a cab to Marquee over in the Cosmopolitan across the street. Yes, a taxi cab! I will never again try to walk the strip after a "few" drinks in high heels and a freak'em dress, while everything "seems" close it's a lot farther than it looks. The larger the group you go with, and the more ladies the better the chance you will get in faster because that line can wrap CLEAR around the 2nd floor like twice before midnight...but that's a blog for another day!
